I don't think that Toei would ever give Disney any footage after the fallout they had, especially when Disney tried to put in their input.

This is the same reason why Marvel fans are worried when Disney bought Marvel Comics.

It might stem from the fickleness of Disney, if you believe the idea that Disney wanted Sentai done a specific way to make the footage easier for them to adapt. (Hence being one reason this decade has been filled with such wonders as cutesy mentors, less intense action, and increased bouts of sillyness.)

Where did you hear this from? As far as silliness goes, Disney went into adapting Gekiranger having already decided it was the last season (According to Guzellion). Explain Go Onger.

And then Disney just scraps it and does its own thing anyway. (Stuffed toy Kruger, Mr. Voice, the Kensei are all discarded for American versions.) That was sure to ruffle Toei's (or someone in the organization) feathers until they finally had enough.

Whaah? They stole the SPD battlizer for the Dekaranger movie. They TRIED to steal the US Kruger costume for the movie. Sounds to me like they loved it.

I'm not trying to be harsh towards PR fans but despite all the complains about how shitty Disney's seasons are, people still wanting it back is kinda peculiar.

The only seasons unanimously panned are Overdrive and maybe Mystic Force and Jungle Fury. I see plenty of people stick up for WF, NS, DT, SPD, and for crying out loud RPM.

My thought is they were referring to the reversioning without realizing it's already airing.
