Agreed, Bulk and Skull were brilliant! I just love their background music! XD Turbo rules man! Justin is cool too, back then he gave me the imagination that I could be a Power Ranger at the age of 7. XD

Heh... Well I can understand that for you younger peeps out there but I was already 17-18 by the time Turbo was airing. My tastes were a little more hardcore way before then.

I found Cassidy & Devin to be a lame, unfunny, watered down version of the Bulk & Skull genre. Nothing they did ever remotely made me laugh. Bulk & Skull were idiots too but atleast they got a giggle out of me every once in awhile.

Untrue. Maybe he prefers the better Saban era of Power Rangers that had darker storylines. PRiS-PRWF is untouchable.

So to answer the previous statement, if you are making an americanized version of a sentai show, yes, I am impossible to please.

Bulk and Skull were so good that they made unwatchable seasons of PR like Season 2 watchable. Cassiday and Devin were good for what they were there for. Bulk and Skull are better, but C and D aren't crap. Neither is NS.

I can understand where you guys are comin' from on Bulk and Skull. My thing is... I never liked the "comedic" aspects of the show. Especially in the beginning when it was real cheesy. Back then, I mainly enjoyed PR for the cool sentai clips and Megazord battles. I thought the Ranger cast worked very well together. I loved Goldar and eventually Scorpina, but I thought Rita and the rest of the crew were idiots. I hated whenever Bulk and Skull were on the screen. I knew they were there as comic relief and to make all the kiddies laugh but I wasn't one of those "kiddies" and I rarely found their antics amusing. To me, they brought the show down with their cheesiness. I felt MMPR would have been much better without them because we already had the villains and Alpha-5 playing the comic role. All of Alpha's "aye yi yi yi yi-ing" got on my nerves too.

Eventually these characters did grow on me somewhat and I learned to tolerate them and enjoy the show despite their presence. I use to tape the show back then so I whenever I would rewatch it I'd just fast forward throught their scenes and get to the really good stuff.

I feel the same way about Cass and Devin. I'm sure I'd enjoy the show much more without their characters but I understand I'm watching a kid's show and I know you have to make the kiddies laugh. I never found their antics to be as mind numbing as some of Bulk and Skull's escapades but to be fair, we only had one season with Cass and Devin while we had 3+ with Bulk and Skull.

All in all... I'm just more in favor of the action and main plot and I usually couldn't care less about the comedic characters in the show. Sue me, I'm an "old" man.

Dude, u know u'r talking to the King fan of DARK, EPIC, and DRAMATIC Toku shows. I also dislike the comedic **** but what I'm sayin' is if I had to chose I'd take Farkus Bulkmeier & Eugene Skullovich anytime. Hell, their names are even jokes.
