Reading comments like these, I just have to ask: Am I seriously the only one that loved Fourze's design right away? I've never not liked it.

I've pretty much always felt like this, but I gave the show a try the same way I'll try Gaimu. Of course with my luck he'll be more like Gentarou and less like Haruto.

Edit: Before anyone says anything, Haruto's not my gold standard. Kenzaki is, but I've given up on THAT.

It's like that there was an idea there, but they had no idea how to execute it.
Resounding 'eh' from me. Those eyes could've easily been Rider eyes.

If I had to pick a gold standard it would basically be Minami Kotaro and Godai Yuuske. Hell I'd just like to see that Kotaro type allowed back in play again, in terms of protags along with your Shotaro's and Gentaro's and what not.

But knowing my luck if they ever did they'd stick him with a silly gimmick to. He'd end up with a toaster belt that plays polka tunes every time you slam in special bread slices.

I'm just repeating what another poster already said (I can't find the exact post) but for all we know now, fruit is one of the themes of Gaimu toyline. We don't know yet how much this will figure into the show.

To use an example that was already used, rings are not the theme of Wizard, either as a show or as a rider (well except that he wears a ring holder), they are a part of that show's toyline. Or to put it another way, if you thought Double was a better show than Wizard, its not because "USBs" or "memories" are a better theme than "rings", since those are the theme of the toys, and not the show.

So we really don't know how much the fruit theme is going to affect Gaimu.. we could in theory still get a pretty cool Samurai themed show. I think at this point its a given for the Super Hero Time shows that if a great story is going to be told, the producers/writers will basically have to work around Bandai's requirements, rather than having the toys and story blend very seamlessly from the start, if you get what I mean.

I agree. I haven't seen enough of Takeshi Hongo (because of subs) but he is awesome. I'd put him and Kotaro as my go to type of Rider. Speaking of Kotaro 2.0 and a silly theme...

[Polka music blares. Gotaro slams the lever down and transforms into Kamen Rider Remedy to a chorus yodeling]

Gotaro: It's time to sooth this ailment!

I agree. I haven't seen enough of Takeshi Hongo (because of subs) but he is awesome. I'd put him and Kotaro as my go to type of Rider. Speaking of Kotaro 2.0 and a silly theme...

And the Red Rider looks cool. Let's just see these suits in action and see how well they are.
From what i can see, the producers want to try something different with Kamen Rider franchise now, and it already start with Wizard (as his helmet design is different compared to previous Riders). But the suit does kinda look like Armored Heroes...Or it is just me?
Anyway, hope to see more than 2 Riders now (presumably 3-6).

BTW, I'm one of the people who instantly like Fourze's design. Den-O too. And also OOO

Maybe one if we get a bunch of Riders one will be a girl. They have been rising up in the ranks lately. They don't even die anymore. And maybe she will be an old child hood friend of the two Riders and have a crush on Gaimu but the Red guy will get jealous and betray Gaimu. Trying to kill him so she will only love him! And when they have there final battle and Gaimu strikes him down during his last breath he realized he was a fool for chasing after the girl Rider because his true love was the young kouhai that always stood by his side. If only he wasn't so blinded by his rage to see it.....

Damn this season is going to be good...

The samurai dude from the OOO movie would be the perfect guest actor for this show. Heck just do a Gaimu x Abarenbo Shogun movie where Gaimu travels back in time and arrives at the dang overused Japanese set.


And Hidden Masta that's just as bad as the scenarios Inoue sometimes write. Heck sounds like its from Faiz.
