Trailer for Gaim was awesome! Deneb seems to be doing a lot for Rider these days (I'm looking at you, Battride Wars).

I really like it. It's reminding me of Kabuto mixed with Double for some reason. Characters look interesting, and still digging the suits. Can't wait for the premier! And the henshin is rather silly, just saying
 
On the topic of Griton, I was talking to one of my buddies, whom despite not being into toku, enjoys hearing about the upcoming Kamen Rider series because of how odd/crazy they sound out of context.

Anyway, so I was telling him about Gaim and got around to describing the little we know about Griton
NOTE: at this point I had already mentioned that the evil organization was named Yggdrasil, and when I mentioned that Griton was an Acorn/Viking theme he explained to me that in Norse mythology it is believed that at the end of the world Yggdrasil "the tree of life/creation" will produce an acorn which will be given to the last man and woman on earth and then used to give birth to a new world.
 

that actually seems like a very clever motif for an evil rider.
 
Holy fruity ass Riders Batman...that was horrid!!

A giant orange drops on his head?! I will not and can not take this **** seriously. Worst idea for a Rider ever. Yes the production value looks really good, but that fruit **** is in the way man.

I am just stupefied at how this **** came into being. I swear it should make every Rider before this hold their heads down in shame.

Like another user said, I can get USB memories, rings, coins, and the like...but fruit?!

To each their own and all...
 
I'll be honest, every time a fanboy gets massively upset over Gaim, I grow a little stronger. Frankly, by the time it begins I expect to have evolved into a new form.

First off, I hate when people use the word "fanboy" as a negative. I could have sworn that we are all "fanboys" being that we are on this site talking about grown men dressed up like insects, wizards, and now fruit.

It's good that some on this site aren't afraid to voice their dislike for something, and never let anyone try to shut your opinion up (as long as you are respectful in getting said opinion across).
 
Chill, dude. Impressions are fine and all, but I'd say wait until the show airs to put down a verdict.

For me, aside from the fruits thing, everything looks pretty promising. Well thought out setting, interesting theme and plot synopsis, pretty looking suits(I'm in love with Zangetsu's armor), an amazing writer doing scripts.

In fact, I can speculate on where the hell the fruits thing came from. Remember that the evil corporation that created the Lockseeds is called Yggdrasil, "the World Tree", "the Tree of Life" in Norse myth. The power to transform originated from Yggdrasil, as a magic fruit originated from the mythical tree. Only Toei decided to do too literally on the fruits motif.
