2011 Super Sentai-35th Anniversary- Changer/Theme Ideas Thread

I think they should do something that's never been done before. A GUN themed sentai would be perfect for a 35th anniversary released. Space and Time travel have already been done, but a SPACE slash GUN slash TIME TRAVEL themed sentai would also be okay.

CHANGERS/HENSHIN DEVICE: No cellphone changers please. I'm sick and tired of those. A GUN changer would be fitting for something like this. A brace changer would also be great, it'll be nostalgia all over again (most SHOWA period Sentai had brace changers).

ACTIVATORS: An item which activates the changer like the Tensou Card, Hidden Disk and Enjin Soul. A bullet type activator would be fitting for a gun themed sentai.
COLORS OF THE HEROES: I'd like them in RED, BLUE, YELLOW, GREEN and BLACK please (first time GREEN and BLACK together, right?) They could make RED the impulsive female, but BLUE (the cool and collected male) could be in command. It'll be like RED's the new recruit and BLUE's the veteran member. Then what first starts with RED and BLUE as a rivalry turns into something more romantic. YELLOW's the gentle type female, GREEN's the cowboy, happy-go-lucky type, but witty male, and BLACK the cocky male. Then they kill off BLUE! That'll be a plot twist. They then introduce a new BLUE male and RED takes over command of the team.

Then they introduce the last member: CRIMSON (a slightly more darker RED). He could be RED's long lost brother or something, or he could be one of the bad guys that turned good. So there's two REDS, two BLUEs (one gets killed), GREEN, YELLOW and BLACK.

SUB-THEME: Shinkenger was based off Samurais with a sub-theme of the Elements. Go-onger was based off Vehicles with a sub-theme of Animals. Goseiger was based off Angels with a sub-theme of Animals (the headers). What's a good sub-theme for the 2011 Sentai? Any suggestions? I can't think of any.

STORY: How about demon hunters? or exorcists? It'll be like KR Hibiki Sentai version. They haven't tackled stories like that in sentai. They did martial artists for Geki, samurais for Shin, and angels for Gosei.

ENEMIES: I've have enough of demons, aliens, stuff like that. How about an enemy that's only a man. A VERY VERY BAD man. Kinda like KEFKA in FF6. He wasn't a god or a powerful being. He was just a very twisted man. Think The Joker from Batman.

MECHA: Can Sentai survive without Mecha? I'd like to see a modern SENTAI without a clusterf*ck mecha. That'll be like a tribute to the GORANGERS. They don't need big robots to kick ass.

Well here is my wishlist on what i want to see for the next Sentai series. Whatchaguysthink?

ok u have a lot of problems with things that are simple and straight to the point.1 i dont see a gun device being used,2 it is very unlikely that well see a romance execpt in hurricanger with navy and blue.and 3 how can u say your tired of demon when u put out an idea like demon hunters.

Umm, more importantly there have been Green and Black rangers together. They were in Liveman, and Go-onger..which was 2 years ago.

For 2011 I think they should go with some original theme like a Halloween based one. Just something they never done before like maybe sports or pirates. I can't think of any changers but I think they should definitely have power-up forms. They should just throw in anything that would make this sentai seem like an anniversary one but I say they should definitely go for an original theme.

I'm so, so, so, so, so desperate for that monster hunter sentai rumour from last year to be used next year. It was the most freakin' epic rumour and I was really excited about it when I heard it. It's an original theme and it could introduce some new concepts and twists for the sentai franchise.

it is very unlikely that well see a romance execpt in hurricanger with navy and blue.

There's been a dozen of other romances in Sentai other than Hurricanger, and all of them were done better than Hurricanger's. Really, the Kuwaga Raiger/Hurricane Blue stuff is one of the weakest, barely there "romances" of the franchise. I mean, wasn't the only time Kuwaga showed interest in Blue when he was under a monster's spell? I don't even think it should count.

I think they should make a space themed series, too much of the mecha in the last few years have been all animal based so having space ships and shuttles as mecha again would be awesome. That's one the thing's sentai has been lacking, really hi-tech looking stuff along with hi-tech looking suits and weapons.

the Cool and collective Blue gets a Shirime called Rei the Kind and Soft yellow gets Kodama call [KoKoro] the over Hyper Gold Gets a Monkey called Sasuke the the leader the noble Violet get s Frog called Jariya Silver gets a Snake called orchimaru][ be would end up joining the bad guys an being the mani bad guy in the final arc the power full pink get a bull name [TsuruHime] [and plus id see a romance between Violet and pink]

idea like the Zabi's in Gundam and the silver Senshi is the real son of the ruler of the empire but his father was usurped and killed by the by the head of the Usupers and in 24 of 52 episode they get defeated and keisuke [ the silver hero takes as main bad guy as Uchuu ou no Akuma]

i was referring to the main villain=) he could be just a twisted man, a terrorist leader even (remember goranger?) who happens to have the technology to turn normal human beings into demons based on the 7 sins or the major arcana (tarot cards) or the chinese zodiac.. then the rangers can be an organization that puts a stop to them, something like a anti demon defense league (think D.Grey-man).. or something like that

i'm not saying an actual romance, but somehow a special connection about the two. something like what boukenred and boukenpink had=)

most of my ideas came from the fact that i love the more traditional Feel of shinken iie stuff like have to write the Kanji for you the element to henshin [ thats also way i think Pr doing shinken wont one of my fave ever hinshin being changed just like i like gekirangers henshin and Pr changed that]

and if you know about Asian literature would would known were most of my Sprit partner names come from

It seems a bit early to be considering this, since the current show isn't even halfway over yet.

But, since we are throwing around ideas here, I would like to see the team transform into their own mechas like Magiranger again

Maybe even have another Kamen Rider team up
