^Let's clarify it... Ultraman Gaia was a 1998-1999 series while Kamen Rider Kuuga was a 2000-2001 series which makes it a year right?

If you count your years in increments of 4 MONTHS, then sure we can call that a year I guess. :anime:

Either way, Tanaka did Ultraman, and then right afterwards did the latest KR series at the time. Whether 4 months between them or not, it doesn't matter. It's never been done. That's why he is the ****!

Ah, but Tanaka has another claim to fame - he sang the original Katamari Damacy theme song, Katamari on the Rocks. :3 Fantastic stuff.

Well I never said he wasn't famous before this. Back in the 80s he did some songs for Fist of the Northern Star too, when he was in the ridiculously 80s-looking pop metal band, Crystal King.

His voice was even better back then, and according to several sources, it was after he was struck in the throat with a baseball in the early 90s that his voice was never the same again.

Well. . . They did a version together for Super Hero Spirits 2000. But the original singer for the song actually isn't Takayuki Miyauchi. That's a common misconception.

The actual song was with Kazuma Daimon. Another great artist! :buttrock::

Daimon is the deeper singer, but Tanaka hits epic high notes in that song!
