Mainly because like Shinkenger Returns, its released Straight to DVD with no theatrical release ... thats why its less special

Going direct to dvd makes it sound like that they're playing it safe. A theatrical release is a big gamble, especially if it doesn't make money or winds up low in the box office ranking for the first week.

eh, I'm sure W would rake in the cash if these movies went to theater. I think Toei may just be focusing on the 40th Anniversary as the BIG movie of the year.

W just not ready to handle the world Den-O has built. For now he'll have to stick to DVD's.

If the dvd sales are a sucess, then maybe a theatrical release for the next W movie would be considered.
