Well.... Sigma's role was... brief. I figured he'd escape at the end of the season, and become a big player in season 2, but three episodes? That's it?
But that's just the thing, I don't think Nozama have even TRIED to cure it. They turned innocent people into monsters, and now they're just cleaning up their mess rather than help anyone. THAT'S why you should feel sorry for them, because they can't fully control themselves The reason Haruka empathises with that is because he struggles for control very time he fights.
Also, regarding episode 8, I wish he had actually killed that human, just to give some weight to his otherwise unfulfilled speech a few episodes earlier about hunting the bad guys, whatever race they are.
The suggestion that the worst humans deserve is a slap on the wrist, while monsters should be killed on sight, is daft, and a bit too reminiscent of Drive for my liking. At least the monsters are just animals this time, as opposed to sentient roimudes, but there's still a person in there who was turned against their will.
