EA Sports UFC 2: First Trailer and Release Period Revealed
As previously reported, EA Sports officially announced EA Sports UFC 2 yesterday, the long awaited sequel to EA Sports UFC. You can check out the announcement trailer below. The game is currently scheduled for a release in the first half of 2016, so it seems to be pretty far along in the development process already.
The new video features a lot of development and behind-the-scenes footage for the new game. The voice-over promises that EA Sports listened to the feedback from the first game, and the sequel will make improvements upon the original. There is also the promise of EA Sports UFC 2 having a gameplay mode, both online and offline, for every type of gamer and fight fan. EA Sports confirmed that the game will have a new Knockout Physics System for the MMA combat.
Much like the first game, EA Sports UFC 2 is only being developed for the current-gen consoles. That is probably for the better because the graphics, animation and character designs for the last game were immaculate and looked fantastic. There is no actual gameplay footage yet, but this video goes confirm that the game is scheduled for release next year. EA Sports UFC 2 is scheduled to arrive for a Spring 2016 release. The game will only be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
