Two reasons you might be interested in Crossbreed, the upcoming sci-fi action film from Uncork’d: it stars Vivica A. Fox as the President of the United States, and she is playing opposite an actor named Stink Fisher. That is not the character’s name, that is the actor’s name. What kind of demented parents name their kid Stink?
In the distant future, experiments are being conducted on a deadly alien creature inside an immense space station orbiting the Earth. It’s a crossbreed between man and alien, and as the 70s margarine commercial states, it;’s not nice to fool Mother Nature. The experiment is being done in space because you wouldn’t risk such activities on the ground, would you? Unfortunately when the experiment goes haywire and the alien escapes, they may have no choice but to capture it and bring it down. Easier said than done.
Crossbreed was written and directed by Brandon Slagle, and in addition to Fox, it also stars one Baldwin (Daniel), Devanny Pinn, Vernon Wells, and the aforementioned Stink Fisher. It approaches VOD platforms February 5, courtesy of Uncork’d Entertainment.
In the near future, the President of the United States of America hires a team of military veterans to retrieve an alien bio-weapon from a top-secret research facility orbiting the Earth. These highly trained mercenaries must infiltrate the space station and recover the deadly experimental alien cargo located onboard. All is going according to the plan until the cargo escapes.
