B-movie kings Wild Eye Releasing have another delightful cheesefest ready for release this fall…another “giant creature on the rampage” feature, but this is one of those rare times it’s not about a shark. We’re going old school this time and reaching back to the original menace, a giant ape.
Someone created a horror parody of the 1980s comedy classic Caddyshack. I could stop there and you’d probably all be sold, but it’s my job to continue. Caddy Hack is the name of a demented new riff where the gophers aren’t just a pain in the neck, they’re downright murderous.
Our nation faces a crisis. The instances of animals in trashy movies getting addicted to dangerous substances is reaching epidemic levels. First it was Cocaine Bears, then it was followed by the appearance of Meth Gators, and now we’re hearing stories of GIANT SHARKS on coke. Something must be done to curb the tide!
Millions of years ago, a massive prehistoric shark called the Megalodon terrorized the waves. It’s been extinct for a long time, until now….when the massive direct-to-DVD hunger for cheesy shark movies resurrected the beast! It was a lesson humanity learned too late.
Veteran actor Christopher Plummer passed on last year, but he left one unreleased role that’s about to come out. The English dub of the Chinese movie Heroes of the Golden Mask is about to be released, and it stars Plummer as well as the deep, rough voice of Ron Perlman and the comic tones of Patton Oswalt.
Uncork’d Entertainment has announced its latest thriller movie, The Curse Of Wolf Mountain, will be arriving…the day it was revealed. Their press release was sent out today and it’s the very day the movie comes out. Good thing they didn’t wait longer.
Anyone remember Joe Lo Truglio from Brooklyn Nine-Nine? He played…..um….I don’t recall exactly, but it was the guy who tripped and fell in the opening credits. So he wasn’t the star attraction, but he’s also human like everyone else, and has other talents than just what we saw on the show. He just wrote and directed his own feature film, Outpost.
The Most Dangerous Game is a common theme for low-budget thrillers to draw from. And why not? The premise is inexpensive to shoot, but can still be gripping in the right director’s hands. Hunt Club is yet another take on this old story and Uncork’d Entertainment is bringing it to us next month.
The hugely successful horror film M3GAN will be followed by a sequel titled M3GAN 2.0. Fans have already formed assumptions about what will happen in the sequel, particularly in light of what happened at the end of the first film. Allison Williams and Violet Mcgraw will return in the show’s second season. This implies that M3GAN is not yet finished with Gemma and Kady. M3GAN’s Physical actress Amie Donald and voice actress Jenna Davis are still not asked to return.
