Batman Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition Cancelled
For Batman’s upcoming game, a letter sent to a customer confirms that the Batman Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition has been officially cancelled. This edition featured not only the game, but also a custom art book, limited edition steelbook, three unique skins and a fully transformable Batmobile statue. So, why was it cancelled? This email reveals all (posted by Thisisxbox.com):
“Dear Cat,
Regrettably, due to unforeseen circumstances that greatly compromised the quality of the Batmobile, included within the Batman Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition, Warner Bros has decided not to release this product.
As a gesture of goodwill, you will be entitled to a £20 discount on the Batman Red Hood Edition, featuring extra content only available at GAME.
If you want to proceed with this offer it will update automatically, you do not need to do anything. If you wish to cancel your complete order, please contact customer services on 0208 827 0099 or email us at customer.services@game.co.uk by 11am on 23rd June.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
The GAME Team”
Well, that is not good news, especially for those who pre-ordered it. However, at the very least, they didn’t waste $200 bucks on a sub-standard product, right? Batman: Arkham knight releases June 23rd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
