Assassin's Creed Syndicate: New Historical Characters Trailer
Ubisoft recently released the latest trailer for the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. You can check out the new Historical Characters trailer, which features a nice amount of new gameplay and cutscene footage, in the player below.
As Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is set in Victorian era London in the 1860s, Jacob and Evie Frye will encounter famous and real-life historical faces throughout the game. The use of real-life historical figures has become an ongoing staple in the franchise since its inception. For example, it looks like the Assassin gadget and weapon maker in the game is none other than Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone. Karl Marx, the man who authored the Communist manifesto, is also an ally in the game. Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens will also appear in the game. The famous nurse Florence Nightingale and Queen Victoria also have roles in the game. Of course, there will also be the Jack the Ripper story DLC campaign that will be released later on, where players will get the chance to take on one of history’s most notorious serial killers.
What is still unknown is how the game will incorporate the modern-day storyline into the single-player campaign. That is an element it seems Ubisoft has lost sight on with its recent Assassin’s Creed installments since Assassin’s Creed III. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate finally arrives October 23 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360. The game will be available for Windows PC on November 19.
