Amazon offers early Access for Luna, A new cloud gaming service.
Move over Google Stadia! A New Cloud gaming service comes to town!
Amazon is now offering early access for its cloud gaming service, Luna! People with high internet speed won’t need to fill Gigabytes of space on their hard drive to play games. At this moment, it has a library of last-gen games. Eventually, the next game gems will be joining the roster. Luna is available for PC, Mac,iMac, and Fire TV. All the players needed is to buy the Luna controller and register for the service. There is also going to be a portable app version for iPhone and Ipad users.
The service is like a Netflix of Games. You can play games without the need to download and installing them. As long as your internet speed hits their requirements, you can play any games without the need to buy them. The early access costs $5.99 of unlimited gaming. Players can enjoy a graphics quality of 1080p/60fps. Games with 4k graphics will become an option too.
Let me introduce you to the Luna controller. You won’t need to buy a console or CD to enjoy games. It will save you some space in your room. Very fitting for college students who live in a small apartment.
There are some concerns with lag when it comes to cloud gaming. Luna promises that it won’t be an issue, and this service will be even compatible with Twitch streaming.
People must request early access because, at this moment, it’s only available for an invitation. Another upcoming feature of Luna will be the Ubisoft channel. It will be a library of classic and new titles from the AAA game studio Ubisoft.
Sadly at this moment, Luna is only available for mainland US. It won’t be available for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US territories, and international users.
