Win A Virtual Coffee Date With Office Or Smallville Stars In COVID-19 Relief Sweepstakes
Since the pandemic hit, Hollywood has been coming up with creative ways of raising money to fight it. Online fundraising platform Omaze, in alliance with Variety Boys & Girls Club and Ronald McDonald House LA, has announced a charity sweepstakes….with the grand prize being a virtual coffee date with the stars of your 2000s TV program of choice.
There are actually only two choices — actors from The Office or actors from Smallville — so pick the one you prefer. The amount of money you donate to the campaign determines the amount of entries you submit, with every dollar being worth ten…$10 gets you 100 chances, $25 gets you 250 chances and $100 gets you a whopping 1,000 chances. Ordinarily we’d complain that this campaign favors the rich, but in this case, the organizations involved need as much ballot stuffing as possible.
Kate Flannery, Oscar Nunez, Melora Hardin and Creed Bratton are part of the Office coffee date. Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum and Kristin Kreuk are part of the Smallville one.
“These families in our community were struggling before this crisis and now they are in dire need of help,” said Creed Bratton. “We are humbled to come together and do our small part to make sure that these families are not forgotten and that we provide them with food and comfort,” said Oscar Nunez.
All proceeds from the Office sweepstakes (Omaze.com/TheOffice) will be donated to Variety Buys & Girls Club, and all proceeds from the Smallville sweepstakes (Omaze.com/Reunion) will be donated to Ronald McDonald House. Help these guys out and maybe share some java with Superman!
