Voodoo Coming To DVD This September

Wild Eye Releasing is readying their next horror thriller, Voodoo, for release this September. As the trailer proves, Hollywood can be fun, as long as you don’t pick the wrong motel to sleep in.

VOODOO tells of an innocent southern girl, Dani, vacationing in Los Angeles to evade her increasingly complicated life.  Once Dani arrives in Los Angeles, she learns that trying to escape her past is not as easy as she had hoped.

Dani’s life happens to be “complicated” in some unique ways….suffice to say, despite the grounded opener, this flick eventually goes into a “disturbing glimpse into hell for the last 35 minutes.” They mean that literally.

Voodoo stars Samantha Stewart, Dominic Matteucci, Ruth Reynolds, Daniel Kozul, Ron Jeremy (………what?), and Lavelle Roby, and was directed by Tom Costabile.

Unlike a lot of the DTV horror schlock we cover here, critics really seem to like this one. Voodoo has been described as “groundbreaking” (DecayMag), “a modern cult classic” (BeyondtheGore) and a “must see” (RogerEbert.com).  When September 11, 2018 rolls around you can judge for yourself. For now, here’s the trailer….
