The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt First 15 Minutes of Gameplay Released Online
In what is sure to only increase the fervor and anticipation for fans of The Witcher franchise, IGN has released a video of the first fifteen minutes of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The new footage is available at the above link. Remember, if you are trying to avoid spoilers for the game, it is probably best to avoid the footage for now.
The gameplay picks up after the opening cinematic cut sequence that already debuted online last year. Geralt of Rivia begins his quest for the new game. He and his comrade are on the trail of Geralt’s long lost love, Yennefer. The video offers an early look at the combat and attack basics, utilizing Geralt’s horse mount for quicker travel, exploring local villages and some of the basic enemies and creatures that Geralt will fight. Some of the dialogue offers some exposition on how the political climate has changed for the plot of the third game. Other than that, there were not any other major reveals.
The wait for The Witcher 3, the final installment of CD Projekt Red’s Witcher video game franchise, is nearly over. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt finally hits the shelves on May 19 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
