Numerous Easter Eggs in Daredevil Series?

We are days away from the release of the Marvel/Netflix collaboration series Daredevil, which will kick off the Defenders series on the online network. We already know that these shows are connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and in fact, the Battle for New York is the catalyst for what happens in Daredevil in regards to the rise of the Kingpin. So, what else can we expect to see or be teased about in the series?

Showrunner Steven S. DeKnight has dropped a big tease for fans (via Collider), saying that there is a lot of Easter Eggs in the show, you just have to pay attention and see them:

“Some will be very obvious – a reference to the Battle of New York – and there are Easter eggs that are so obscure that I didn’t know what they were. Often times we need a sign in the background, and we always try to use those opportunities to dig into the Marvel universe, so Megan Thomas Brander, one of our Marvel people, we would send that over to her and say, ‘Hey, we need a sign out here. What do we got that would be good?’”

“And she’d send back a list of like ten and I’d look at those, and I’ve read comics all my life, and I look at those and go, ‘I don’t recognize any of these!’ So there are some Easter eggs that are really for the hardcore fans and there are some that other people will recognize.”

So there you go, the truth is out there, but will you be able to see it? Guess we’ll find out April 10th.
