“wake up, wake up, developing community – because the fans are definitely awake, and they are PISSED.”

Finally got around to listening to the podcast, awesome job. I’m definitely going to pick up Armoured Core 5, seems like the perfect antidote to my Mass Effect 3-induced indifference to gaming lately. Totally agree with you about From Software being an incredible developer- but I think some credit should also go to Atlus as a publisher for Demon’s Souls and also as a developer for Catherine. I don’t know if you guys played that but it was pretty risky for a new IP and I thought the puzzle mechanics were addictive as hell. They get my support too. Are you guys playing AC5 on PS3 or 360?
Also, you said that you didn’t like what has happened with the Killzone franchise; are you talking about the changes from 1 to 2 or 2 to 3? I must confess I never played the original, but I loved KZ2 and thought it was probably the best FPS multiplayer experience I’ve this generation (in terms of the online community, controls, maps etc.). So I don’t get the hate for KZ2. If on the other hand you are talking about KZ3 then I totally agree with you. They made superficial improvements to the graphics/colour palette but fundamentally changed the controls to a more arcadey/COD style shooter. Part of the reason I liked KZ2 was the it was distinct from COD in the first place.
Lastly, I primarily came here for the gaming news but the conspiracy/paranormal segment at the end was pretty fun and interesting. My only experience with conspiracies/paranormal is from the X-Files, but listening to some of the stuff you were talking about has got me reading up on it. So thanks guys. Also, hate to show a favouritism but I really like Mike’s style and take on things.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks again for the awesome comments.
Though I was not apart of this podcast (hopefully next one), the point about Killzone 3 that you have made are most likely the same thoughts that most of us here at TPG feel about the game.KZ3 took to much away that KZ2 had that sadly killed the game for many. The hate for KZ2 comes from the weight of the controls, but that’s something I loved most about the game.
Currently Robert and Taylor are playing Armor Core V on the PS3. Not sure if Fagin is playing it on the xbox 360. Me (if your wondering) I don’t own the game as I sent my copy over to Taylor, since it’s not my type of game.

Really glad your finding the paranormal/conspiracy stuff interesting. I’m sure Mike will be happy to hear that. If you can take the time to look us up on iTunes and rate the podcast we would greatly appreciate it.

Fagin stupidly bought the PS3 version of Armored Core 5 thinking that he would get playing time. Fagin was wrong… so very wrong. Now he gets laughed at behind his back by Robert and Taylor. There will of course be major payback.
