Vulture Backstory Revealed For Spider-Man
Spider-Man: Homecoming is a first in a lot of ways. It’s the first solo movie for new Spider-Man Tom Holland, it’s the first Spider-Man film that ties into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it’s the live action debut of the villain known as Vulture, played by Michael Keaton. There’s a lot of secrecy going on with the film and what will happen, but now we have some details on what to expect from Vulture, mainly his backstory. Apparently, Vulture in real life, named Adrian Toomes, was a simple “everyman” who would clean up the mess left by superheroes via his salvaging company. But then, Tony Stark steps in and ruins that, basically destroying his world. He’s very much an “everyman” kind of guy. “My whole approach for this movie is that we’ve seen the penthouse level of the [Marvel] universe,” director Jon Watts told USA Today. “We’ve seen what it’s like to be a billionaire inventor and to be a Norse god. We’ve seen the very top of this world.
