New Minecraft Boss Mode Contains Plenty Of Bugs
Earlier this year, Microsoft revealed that they would be releasing an update for Minecraft. Called the “Boss Update”, it would add a variety of new content and features to the experience, chief amongst them being the ability to use a new add-on system that operates in a similar way to mod support. It is currently only available on Minecraft Pocket and the Windows 10 versions of the game. Unfortunately, the launch of the latest update hasn’t gone entirely smoothly. Complaints in the official forums for the game indicate that many people are suffering with a variety of problems, primarily performance issues that make the title crash if played on mobile devices. It also seems like many of the official add-ons do not work as intended, with the enemy AI having trouble moving around the map effectively. Many were also frustrated that the add-on system doesn’t allow players to create their own mobs or creatures.
