KOG Games announced a new update for their action-based MMO Kurtzpel today. On October 10, they’ll be adding the game’s first heavy-hitting heal and support Karma Weapon, Sacred Guardian. Sacred Guardian introduces the Support role to the game.

On the appointed day, you must speak with the NPC Lime to unlock the weapon. Those wielding it will specialize in healing, resurrection and other defensive moves, but they will still be able to “hit like a truck” (KOG’s words).

You can get Sacred Guardian through the Steam Shop or by earning it in-game through Chase Points and Ability Points. There will also be the Sacred Guardian Starter Pack released the same day, which adds three missions relating to Lime on the mission map. Complete these missions and you’ll get Karma Crystals, costumed and more.

Other additions in this update: the addition of a Field of Vision slider, an additional Accessory drop for existing PvE bosses, and three more Lime-themed PvE missions. Plus the game will be given another rebalance based on player feedback.

KurtzPel is a 3rd Person, Anime-Inspired, Action Battle Game created by the developers of Grand Chase and Elsword Online. In KurtzPel, classic action game dynamics are enabled when players outfit their characters with 2, separate jobs (called Karma) that can be swapped out and utilized interchangeably, mid-combat. Players can enjoy various 2v2 PvP Modes; queued up by a smart, automated match-making system, player created 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 Custom Missions. Or, players can embark upon a larger-than-life, raid style, quest-driven battle system against big, bad boss monsters.
