English Speaking characters are present in Bird Box Barcelona
English speaking characters with American accent got revealed in the first Full trailer of Bird Box Barcelona. This spin off of the 2018 Original Sandra Bullock starrer film is not a remake nor a sequel. It is a a full pledge spin off set in the same world . It will show us the earliest attacks of the entity that is so scary people commits suicide when they saw it. In the first teaser trailer we thought this is just a Spanish language film because it is set in Spain. Bafta Winning Actress Georgina Campbell plays the role of Claire. Somewhere in the story Claire will meet the main character Sebastian (Mario Casas). So this is more than a Spanish Spin off, It is more of an International affair. I have a feeling if this succeeds, we might see more International Spin Off. In the first film we got a time skip so people are already used to walking around blind folded while holding a box with birds inside. They use

Skull Island Premiered on Netflix few days ago on June 22, 2023. Confident that this show will attract new subscribers, Netflix took the initiative of uploading the Pilot Episode for free on its YouTube Channel. Moreover, Legendary Films, the company behind the modern Godzilla and King Kong movies, actively participates in the production of this animated series. Skull Island is part of the Monsterverse films but work as a prequel as it is set in 1990. You don’t need to watch the Monsterverse films because it works as a standalone series. Skull Island boasts an exceptional voice cast, with Nicolas Cantu as Charlie, renowned for his roles in The Walking Dead: World Beyond and The Amazing World of Gumball. Richard Pryor Returns To Vinyl With Three Reissued Records
Whenever comedian Richard Pryor is brought up, the first comment is usually “that guy was an all-time legend, for sure.” The second comment is usually “He’d never get away with it today, he’d be cancelled so fast his head would spin.” This observation is thrown at a lot of shock comics from the 70s and 80s, and it’s not always accurate. To be sure, every third word that comes out of Pryor onstage is a swear, including a certain six-letter word that only he can say. And he sure brings up sex and drugs a lot. But the assumption is that Pryor would still be shocking NOW, when the average American consumes a steady diet of nearly uncensored shows on streaming — and that kind of isn’t true. Generally a comedian gets “cancelled” today if their material aggressively punches down, or is outright bigoted. This doesn’t even remotely describe Pryor, whose perspective was that of a Black man in the early 1970s and the crap he had to deal with
Nintendo Switch Online Gains Sega’s Finest Zelda Knockoffs
In the early 90s you either had a Super Nintendo or a Sega Genesis — it was the parents who paid for these things and most would chafe at the idea of buying a second console. There were many Genesis kids who looked on at the Zelda series with some jealousy, but there WERE options to get a similar experience. Both of them have finally arrived in the Genesis section of Nintendo Switch Online as of today. Crusader of Centy was released by Atlus in 1995 and is as close to Link to the Past as you can get — the graphics are similar, the top-down sword-slashing adventuring is the same, the sense exploration is duplicated. The game didn’t get much attention at the time of its release, though, and it’s only recently been embraced by the gaming community as a Genesis Classic — so you know what that means. It costs a ton. A premium NSO subscription (at $49.95) costs way less than a Crusader of Centy cart. Also,
Warrior Nun Lives
Every now and then, life will surprise you sometimes, and in a good way. Doesn’t usually happen. Happened tonight. My cynical self assumed we had entered a new era of television, the kind where “cult followings” don’t matter anymore. The kind where if a TV show doesn’t become a rare instant overnight success, it’s cancelled hours later. The kind where executives live in hermetically sealed dwellings surrounded by 50-foot-high castle walls protected by alligator-infested moats, and frequently make inscrutable, unexplainable decisions that make sense only to them. The kind of world where you can yell all you want, and keep it up for months, but they just won’t care or listen anymore, unless the algorithm god they worship grants it so. Twitter has had periodic “#SAVEWARRIORNUN” fan storms every five days for months now, ever since the series was abruptly assassinated by Netflix last December. The viewership numbers were healthy, but stuff like that doesn’t seem to matter anymore in there. Netflix cancels a lot of things for no apparent
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Comes To Crunchyroll July 12
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero was the largest Dragon Ball movie ever, at least in terms of ticket sales. It hit #1 at the box office when it was released in August of last year, the first Dragon Ball movie to do so and one of the rare anime movies to reach that milestone in the US. It’s been quite a wait since then, but Crunchyroll just announced they are finally making the movie streamable for anyone with a subscription. In Super Hero, the Red Ribbon Army has returned with a lineup of newer, more dangerous Androids created by Dr. Hedo, the grandson of Dr. Gero. The bots have just one objective: DESTROY ALL ALIENS! That pretty much affects Goku’s friends and family directly, and Piccolo leads the charge to fend off the vengeful Androids and save the Saiyan race. The dub version stars the English voices of Kyle Hebert (Son Gohan), Sean Schemmel (Son Goku), Robert McCollum (Son Goten), Christopher R. Sabat (Piccolo, Vegeta), Monica Rial (Bulma), Sonny Strait
Move to Heaven | Original Netflix K-Drama | The Dead Have a Story to Tell
Move to Heaven is an original Netflix Korean drama series; 10 episodes, released in 2021. The story is about a company named “Move to Heaven” that provides a service called “trauma cleaning”; mainly for people who died alone. They clean the rooms of the deceased and help the departed with their “final move”. Move to Heaven is a Father and Son Business Han Jeong-woo (played by Ji Jin-hee, “Designated Survivor: 60 Days”, “Jewel in the Palace”) is the father of Han Geu-ru (played by Tang Jun-sang). Together they run a business called “Move to Heaven”. Their company’s specialty is trauma cleaning. But they are not like others who also perform this service. They perform their cleaning with compassion, care, and consideration for both the dead and the living that they left behind. Before beginning, they always pay their respects, as if the departed soul is still in the room with them. They acknowledged their life by stating their name and their DOD (date of death). Next, they state: who they
The DC Deck Building Game Is Going DARK
DC’s Deck Building Game is a decent way to step in the shoes of the greatest heroes Warner Bros owns the copyright to. The likes of Superman and Batman can handle any monster, alien or mad scientist that comes their way. But what happens when things get a bit supernatural? Superman may be the Man of Steel, but in the cosmic game of rock-paper-scizzors, magic beats steel any day. In those situations, you call up a different breed of hero: Justice League Dark. Until now you could not play as JLD characters in the DC Deck Building Game, but the launch of the latest Kickstarter plans to change that. Publisher Cryptozoic has introduced the Justice League Dark expansion with 211 cards, eight oversized character cards, four seal tokens, a “multiverse divider” and the rulebook. It also introduces the characters of John Constantine, Zatanna, Swamp Thing, Doctor Fate and….Wonder Woman?? I guess technically Wonder Woman falls into the “magic” side of the DCU with her connections to Greek mythology and all,
Futurama’s Back On Hulu, Baby
We haven’t got long before the first new episodes of Futurama in a decade premiere on Hulu. We had long assumed the show was over (and had made peace with that) but in a world of endlessly recyclable IP nothing truly dies, does it? Fortunately, the show itself has concocted an explanation for where it’s been this whole time. “We seem to have survived a massive disruption in the flow of time,” Professor Farnsworth tells the crew. We don’t see what he says after that but maybe it has something to do with the time-loop shenanigans of the previous “final” episode, “Meanwhile.” Even though it’s set a thousand years in the future, Futurama has always mined current events for story ideas, to the annoyance of some sticklers. Since it can take a year (or longer) for an animated episode to go from script to screen, these are always risky. There’s a crypto episode waiting that feels a bit late on arrival, but personally, I’m down for kicking that whole stupid
Tensei Released To Steam
A Japan-based indie dev team called Project Pegasus has just released their casual platformer Tensei to Steam. It has a cool ink-shaded look reminiscent of old illustrations from the region. You play as a bouncing ball, and your only goal is to jump as high as you possibly can. As you rise, you’ll spot “damage zones” in the air, which you can purify by dropping into them and erasing them. Collect ink droplets you see along the way to become more powerful, rise higher and obtain flight powers. It’s possible to gain the temporary ability to turn into a dragon. We should point out that some of the background images in this game were generated with AI (not everything, just some backgrounds) so if that’s a sticking point, you can ignore the game. A unique sensation of low-gravity gameplay: Project your consciousness into the game as you relax and lose yourself in the flow of the gameplay. Use a triple jump to navigate from one platform to the next as
New Anime Series “Dan Da Dan” Acquired By Crunchyroll
Though Crunchyroll announces new anime by the bucketful, “Dan Da Dan” is viewed as a pretty huge one, so it gets its own separate announcement. In fact, it’s so big that Crunchyroll is making this announcement now even though the show doesn’t actually debut until the fall. Dan Da Dan, based on the manga of the same name, is the latest production from Science Saru, creators of Scott Pilgrim Takes Off for Netflix as well as Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!, DEVILMAN crybaby, and two episodes of Star Wars Visions (episodes “T0-B1” and “Akakiri”). What’s the hype about? Well, the premise is pretty intriguing: two teenagers who are into the paranormal meet up in high school — Momo, who comes from a family of spirit mediums, and Okarun, a big sci-fi fanatic. You’d think they would instantly form a bond, but they don’t — their beliefs actually clash. Momo believes in ghosts, but not aliens, while Okarun fervently believes in alien visitors but scoffs at the idea of ghosts. Each
