Mortal Kombat X is getting a lot of hype going into its April 14th release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. You’d actually be forgiven for not knowing that the mobile version of the game is out now, and is free to download.
You can get the mobile version of Mortal Kombat X on your iOS device, with an Android version coming soon. The mobile version of the game won’t have the exact gameplay mechanics as the main titles to be clear. In fact, NetherRealm studios has noted that the game will be a “hybrid of fighting, card collecting, multiplayer team combat and more.”
The roster for the game will be the same though, minus the characters that can be purchased through the Kombat Pack like Predator, Jason Voorhees, Tanya, and more.
However, you will be able to transfer certain items from the mobile version of the game to the console version of the game through WB Play. Mainly the ability to transfer skins of characters you receive in Mortal Kombat X Mobile. Two examples that were given were the Johnny Cage Ninja Mime skin and Jax’s Farmer Jax skin.
The console versions of Mortal Kombat X will be available on April 14th.
