Hustle, Acting debut of NBA star Juancho Hernangómez
Hustle makes me realize that I now live in a bizarre world where Adam Sandler makes good movies. There was a time when there was a stigma against his films because he made a string of terrible comedies. There are some good movies in his Happy Madison portfolio, but the rest are unwatchable Razzies winners. Sandler turned around his career when he began making dramas and thrillers. His talent shines through when he is making serious movies.
Fans have been giving their positive feedback to Sandler ever since he changed his career direction. Years ago, his movies were so terrible that when the Season 23 winner of Survivor won Jack and Jill as a reward, her face looks like this.
To follow up his new found renaissance , Sandler stars in Hustle.A Sports Drama produced by Lebron James. It is also the acting debut of NBA star Juancho Hernangómez. Sandler is not the only former comedian in the film, Oscar Winner Queen Latifah also joins the cast.
Adam Sandler plays the role of Stanley Beren, A fallen and shamed former Basketball coach trying to make his comeback by recruiting A foreign Street Basketball player Bo Perez (Juancho Hernangómez), who is trying to forget his tainted past. He is the only one who believes in him, but Beren will try to give Perez his shot to basketball superstardom.
Hustle Trailer
Stanley Beren(Sandler) was on a Vacation in Spain when he saw Bo Perez is playing Street Basketball. He saw a raw and rare talent who can only be found once in a lifetime. He will try everything to make him go with him to America to become the next big NBA star. For a first-time actor, Hernangómez has this intensity in him. The Man is good in basketball and a natural when it comes to acting. Hustle will be released on Netflix this June 10.
