Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger EP 29- "All Out War! Dance Carnival!"

Remember, Torin was talking about Earth's nature and dinosaurs (both of which were affected by the same extinction events), and that "dinosaurs" can be (erroneously) a generic term for fauna from the prehistoric period (as I said: Zyuranger).

Then why not just say life? As I said before, it would have more of a moral punch than "Dinosaurs are cool so I'll say I love dinosaurs!"

And it doesn't change the fact that our ancestors are ancient lizards

Not dinosaurs though. So trying to imply a human-dino connection was wrong.

Now, ONLY because you CHOSE to look at it negatively you find more negative things to see that shouldn't have been there in the first place. Then I'm telling you that, well, you dug your own hole. And you're blaming me?

I disagree with just about all of your so-called addresses to my issues. For one reason or another you just don't see what I see in this show. To me it's 90% rehashed material without anything that made that material endearing. Just rushed through to get back to "wacky half-hour".

Watch the episode again and read/listen to what he said.

I see what you see perfectly, and I know you're looking at it at a way that will give you more headaches (and less appreciation for it) as you go on. That's why I was warning you.

But you didn't listen. That's what you want so all I can do is rebut whatever I think deserves rebuttal.

I can be cynical, too and I can be worse, trust me. I just choose not to, and that's why I'm in a toku community right now. My old self would probably tell my new self that toku is a crappy genre all throughout that doesn't deserve the effort and time and you'll deserve all the crappiness that you will get. That my time is probably better spent reading the stuff my college friends read and the movies they watch.

One thing you'll never see me doing is lingering in discussions trying to convince everyone that what they're watching is bad. I don't think it's fair to people who actually enjoy what they're watching, regardless of whether I like it or not.

I'd argue that evolution in such a manner is more or less null when we got modern mammals that weren't supposed to exist appearing aside their "ancestors", the geological table being disproven by later horses showing up before their ancestors in Brazil. And said horses and whales do not descend from three toed badgers and land animals. These facts have not been held by the scientific community since the 70s but are still pathetically taught in the textbooks. Could there be evolution? Maybe, but it is still a theory among several other explanations so we'll likely never know.

It's more or less speculation at what happened and what did not, so until then, anything is game. There has never been any transitory species discovered or proven, specifically in the case of people. Today, they are finding out that wait a minute, there were multiple variations of humans in existence at one time and that Australopithecus isn't even related remotely. What else is wrong or different?

Evolution, in the general public's and a few of wishful thinking scientists' minds, is pretty much something out of a fantasy novel. Traits do not emerge ex nihilo and it relies on an outrageous withholding of disbelief, like watching a Michael Bay film. If people really paid attention to Darwin's actual words and views on evolution, there wouldn't be as much of an idiocracy concerning the subject.

When taking modern geology and anthropology into perspective, much of the claims really don't hold as they might have a century ago and need to be taken account of. So until we find definitive proof of any form of origin, we might as well do what we want with prehistoric creatures and not be so stringent on scientific accuracy based on speculation and speculation alone. Why sweat over it?

*Takes serious glasses off*

Though in a way, descending from lizards seems awesome. :castlerock:

I'm surprised that from a show that was meant for kid, we suddenly got explanation about humankind evolution. And reading it makes me want to believe that I'm descended from dinosaur. Except my religion taught me of humankind's existence. lol.:P

Some people watch shows simply to whine and nitpick about them each week. I think that is rather sad, but people do it.

I'm confused now....am I a dinosaur...?

No but, this guy might be:

So, only by looking at things negatively will someone see problems?

No. That's not what I said.

For example, reading Watchmen and expecting Superman will just make you end up depressed.

In this case there was a foregone conclusion that the plot was copied, even if it's terribly obvious that the intrinsic details aren't there. It's fair to say that it does remind you of that plot, because it really does. However, to be afterwards disappointed because it was handled differently? It boggles me. Of course, it's going to be handled differently, because it's different.

I mean, being critical is one thing, but it's also just fair that we set our expectations straight beforehand.
