It’s been nearly two years since a new episode of Wynonna Earp last aired on SyFy, and to be honest, it feels like it’s been even longer. First production on Season Four was
stymied by financial problems from the co-financier of the series, IDW Entertainment. Then, once that was resolved, the entirety of Hollywood was shut down.
Perhaps if Emily Andras and crew had known there would be so many complications and delays, they wouldn’t have ended Season 3 on a cliffhanger. Since September of 2018, Wynonna’s sister Waverly has been trapped in another dimension and Wynonna has been rendered defenseless, the Earp Curse broken and her magic gun lost.
