Would you watch HK subs?

i actually prefer no subs to hk subs

.. but this is cuz i start reading them and laughing at how badly translated they are......

this is also b/c i don't actually need the subs and mainly get them for 1) shows that are very specialized in a certain field, or 2) for my mom and sister :3

however i do get hk subs if i'm too lazy to actually d/l something XD ... which is ..how often? :3

not that i buy the stuff.... nooo renting is good enough :D

i used to watched it when comes at HK subs like s-CRY-ed, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, Galaxy Angel and Kamen Rider Den-O. but, i wanted much in english subs in some way.

I pretty much sold all my HK DVDs not too long ago so I can buy more toys.
I see no point in buying something that I can easily download.

Unless the packaging is really nice and I really like the series, like my Death Note anime DVD boxsets (awesome packaging with metal tin cases), I see no point in buying HK DVDs. And also it's because I want the media in DVD format.

And I have some Sentai HK DVDs that have special features... that's the reason why I am not selling them.

HK Subs...always good for a laugh:laugh: I only watch HK subs for anime, really.

Still, I find it HILARIOUS when a person says something in english, and the subtitles on HK subs will always, always get it wrong.

i know.

if i really want to see the show, and have no other choice. then, yes.

Absolutely. If it means I get to watch more Toku (Sentai especially, with so much of that show not subbed) then I'm all for it. Who cares in that case if the grammar isn't perfect? It's much better than either not having a clue what's going on or not getting to see the show at all.

HK subs suck. They get the names wrong, the grammer makes All Your Base look like the greatest Fanfiction ever and their subbing leads to such epic lulz like "Scorpion Penis" And "Don't Molest the Lawyer".
