Worship Doug Sloan is just pathetic

Goodness sakes this flame fodder again? What is Henshin Justice suppose to be about these days, bashing a dead horse? We know both Forever Knight and Red loath Doug as a human being and somewhere forgot that he was doing the show before anyone else and the Ann is one of the reasons the show was ever green lighted. But lets not get into a flame way over this, again.

A few of us were given mod powers, doesn`t mean we`re suddenly cops but it does mean like true Rangers we`re ready to cal apon the powers given to us to keep the peace.

Please, enough blood thirsty posts aimed at Mr. Sloan. I don`t worship him, I worship someone less visible.

If we EVER expect to get along here we must and I really mean must agree to dissagree and just move on.

I`m sure I`m not the only one who loves this place and I`m sure I`m not alone in a sinking boat that wants it to stay a float.

Just to start, I'd like to state that this post was made in a calm and rational manner, and if you read it a different way, I'm sorry. This is not meant to flame.

I'm not flaming anyone. It's just annoying me when some people/Anti-Sentites WORSHIP Doug Sloan. "PRAISE DOUG SLOAN! DOUG SLOAN IS GOD!" yeesh.. That's just not right.

This board is not a place for you to bitch about things that happen on Rangerboard that piss you off. If you REALLY want to write rants every two weeks about how RB pisses you off, get a Deadjournal. Hell, I'll give you the code - then you can call it "Doug Sloan sucks" and link it in your sig, and anyone who wants to see these rants can go there anytime.

Yeah, I should've not post this. Like I said... it's very annoying when they do that.

If I am at Rangerboard and post there just like this thread. I would get flame by anyone.

But for those of us who want actual discussion of PR and Toku, and not just the Doug Sloan haters club, please stop making posts like this. I've posted my opinion in this same argument a billion times, and I'm not gonna post it again. I like Doug Sloan. You don't. That's fine, and that's the way it should be, but I don't appreciate being called "pathetic."

It's not your place to jump in their face, or other peoples face for that matter to call them pathetic just because they praise Doug as if he's god. I liked "Lost and Found in Translation". It's morale and point is completely missed and ignored by fanatics and twisted up to being something it was never trying to be.

Legacy of Power was cool as was Thunder Storm.

Doug Sloan was an executive producer of Power Rangers during eras that were more goofy and I wasn't overly fond of.

Some fans have taken it to an extreme degree to hate the guy for taking the show in directions they didn't enjoy, but some others did.

Power Ranger fans are less forgiving of silly, where as I don't see many Sentai fans ever going, "OMG!!!111!!! I hate Carranger!!!!!!!! GRAAAAAAAAA!!!"
