Doug Sloan: The Good

Forever Knight

Eye See You
Having Doug Sloan and Good in the same sentence is like putting OJ Simpson and Not Guilty in the same sentence. It just don't work.

But does anyone think this guy did any good in his NS and DT return to the PR Legacy?.

I honestley can only note 2 things he did good:
1. The Cloaked Evil Ranger voices - Definatley sound bad ass and a tradition I hope continues with future baddies.

2. Return of Tommy - No explanation needed.

Everything else was just urine.

What do you guys think ?

The "Fighting Spirit" is work of Jackie Marchand so I won't include it. I know Sloan wasn't capable of coming up with something so stellar.

I concur. He did some good things, which I'm thankful for, but I never cared for the overboard humor. I do think that DinoThunder was better than Ninja Storm, but SPD pwns both.

I don't mind being annoyed by a character or two but when the entire cast, villians, guest actors, and everything else becomes a problem then you know their is a problem.

But anyone else like a certian thing Sloug Doan did?.

Mesegog and his bunch... those were some truely great villians. After Lothor and his morons, Mesegog was pretty damn impressive as was Zeltrax annnnd... that one chick.

They could've done a LOT bette with Zeltrax's identity tho. I mean, they didn't even have to go so far as to make Zel a reformed Goldar, although that would've been a-fwickin'-mazing. I'd've been happy if he was a evolved Puddy that survived the war to get his revenge at least. Instead.. it was just some guy we never heard of or knew of in the first place.

Loved the final unmorphed fight against him tho.

I agree. Mesogog and his baddies were pretty cool. :)

Yeah...no

I think you were watching the wrong series...were you watching Wild Force or Turbo by some mistake? 'Cause NS and DT rocked. NS was a great new thing to try...a PR series that didn't attempt to take itself seriously. They had good storylines at the same time as they poked fun at long standing traditions ("They blow him up, we make him grow. It's not rocket science here.") DT was the first PR series I've seen (the second was SPD) where I was dissapointed when they morphed. Why? 'Cause the characters were so well done and the acting was so awesome. (Not including JDF in that last statement. He's not meant to act. He's meant to be badass. :) ) Throw in two of the best villains in history, Lothor for being the most devious villain ever (watch the last few episodes in the series, right from when that shark bounty hunter kills Zurgane, and you'll see what I mean.) and Mesogog, second only to Zedd himself in pure badassness, and you have two kickass series.

Oh yeah, and we had Fighting Spirit. What more do you want? :)

Nope I watched those respective series in 1997 and 2002 like everyone else.

"Fighting Spirit" was done by Jackie Marchand not Doug. I'm talking about what Doug has done.
