Can't say enough good things about Douglas Sloan - he was like a father figure to us (though he's not old enough). He looked after us from auditions all the way through the entire process. He was incredibly patient - great company and always always caring. Same with Ann Austen actually - they're just damn good people and talented writers. I have a lot of respect for them both.

My first experience with Doug was in the final audition in Sydney. He auditioned me and was so incredibly nice - patient, humble, down to earth. Some producers like to manipulate people into doing things. Not Doug - just straight down the line. In fact he basically told me I got the part after my first read for him.
