Giving direction to the anger is another thing to consider when it comes to playing video games. And on that note I'd say males or even females have their reasons to play the video games.
I don't think there is a significant difference between genders in terms of playing games. We are all into games all of us. I think the playing time interval is the difference but not in the sense of gender difference.
