Didn't we already have a talk about this in the other Twilight thread? I told you I read the first two books as well as Breaking Dawn (solely to see that pregnancy **** and see how it was played out, I laughed and was slightly horrified).

You want a serious discussion? Its in that panel since having read the book I can justly say Breaking Dawn is that **** with a little "lets hitch everyone together" flare. All in all an awful book apart of an awful series of books. You're obviously going into fanboy denial if you say Breaking Dawn is nothing like that. How can you not say that it was fanfiction and fetish material? Its like saying BDSM is a hobby and not a fetish.

Okay, numero uno: I'm not a fanboy. Not even that big of a fan. I'm just trying to say that a lot of the hate the series gets isn't justified.

I read the book after reading your post about it in the last thread and was expecting massive sexual fetish stuff. When I was done I just sorta quirked a brow and was like....that's it? All of that prenancy stuff is downplayed drastically. I've read worse stuff in forum fanfiction. I will agree that the whole imprinting thing was a little creepy, but that was her way of tying up all the loose ends.

Look I'm not saying I LOOOOVE the story, I'm just saying I don't HAAAAAATE it.

Someone at my job was telling me how I've just got to see Twilight. I'm not dying to check it out, but I think I'd just look at it to see if it's really that bad. What's scary though, is that I might actually end up enjoying the movie. Some of my co-workers think I should, since I'm a Harry Potter fan. However, HP makes me think, and it has characters that I can relate to.

One of my friends saw this movie with her friend, just so they could mock it.

And we know what happens to them once they're disappointed.

In all fairness though, now that I've seen the trailer myself, I can actually understand their excitement. The part where the girls really start to have a flooding orgasm (2:12), that's where they see the guy with no shirt on. They start to get even more tingly down there when they see him turn into a wolf (2:20).
