Who Misses Japan Hero?

Blazing Tiger, I was formerly Immortal of Justice/Steve, I had a name change a few months ago. Forgot to message that in your profile. :laugh:

ljkahKDAHSKDISIDJIDJOL Steve. Do you know how long ive been trying to figure out who you were? Anyways oh wow thats so not a way to end a site. Im kind of sad i didn't get to experience now. ;_;

I think they got through it being hacked, but Keith was supposedly give full reign for the place by then since Jeff had gone AWOL due to real life and then site's hosting eventually just expired. Kind of an undramatic end to a pretty cool place, was never too fond of the forums but I loved the main site, it was my introduction to the deeper world of tokusatsu. (though looking back on it now, it wasn't that deep, but the toku fandom was in its infancy on the English side of things back then, so it was huge by those standards)

I believe that was a symbolic as well as real gesture that we at HJU are the second Japan Hero . Now if only aspects of the main site could be integrated into Henshin Justice's . Especially with the reviews section of each series, film and whatnot, it would spice things up especially if it was updated.

This site needs to get into a web ring with Toho Kingdom as that place is pretty neat too.

I wanted to join that site, but I just didn't get around to it. :(

Well now that's been brought up, yes, I do miss Japan Hero. First toku community I ever joined. Great place for a list of all the toku shows and various others that people might like just as much. Great place for summaries, overviews, and reviews.

But I'm well settled in here at Henshin Justice. It has all the great Tokusatsu news, discussions, most of the members from Japan Hero, and then some. Dare I say, Henshin Justice has come out on top as the superior community for Tokusatsu and similar interests.

I miss this site too as it was one of the first Toku sites I visited back then. I remember seeing the awesome pictures and reading the series summaries of many classic series.

Jill's Sentai Spoilers is where I first really saw Tokusatsu... but Japan Hero was the first place that became *home* for Tokusatsu and really blew it up for me.

Plus I fucking LOVED that name, Japan Hero. :thumbs:

Ha ha... I remember Japan Hero. Ah, good ol' times. Too bad, I got banned by Kage for criticize him. I've learned a lesson, so I got over it.

Just out of curiosity..

Is it possible to get Japan Hero revived? Was Japan Hero under the hands of someone else when Jeff left? Is so is it still now?

it is very much in Jeff's hands as it was before it was closed for good. unless a miracle happens i would not be looking for a revival.
