I just got there new album 7 Sinners. It's fucking good ****. Did you listen to it yet?

I've been jamming on this for a while this for a while this morning:

They've strayed a bit from being stereotypical power metal, and reach over into the progressive metal realm at times, which is definitely fine by me. Wish you could find their CDs outside of fucking Japan though.

More technical death metal than anything, but it's appropriate. The first half of the vid is a piece being played forward, then at around 3:05 they begin to play the entire piece backwards. So musically, it's mirroring itself. Pretty impressive stuff.

Watched Sonata Arctica live last october, one of the best concerts I've ever been to! First power band, and my favorite forever!

Didn't know some bands in this thread, gonna look them up for sure! Dragonland sounds amazing :buttrock:

Nope, they're both from Ecliptica. Unopened is probably my favorite from that album.
