Wow... I've never seen this before. Didn't know Cap Power rocked Japan and looks a lot like a Tokusatsu series when put with this music. :castlerock:

It aired in the US, but it was made and what not in Canada. Great show. I still have all the toys and video tapes. For those of you that don't know, you could interact with the show. You could zap the bad guys on screen, and they could shoot back.

J. Michael Straczynski(Babylon 5)was the writer of the last episode of the series, in which Pilot died. He commented about it, revealing that the scene was inspired by an especially tragic event in his own past.

"I've never talked about this before--said I was in a thoughtful mood--but I've known several people, friends, who've taken their own lives. In one case, I spoke to her just beforehand. Tried, through the phone lines, to reach her one more time, pull her back from the edge. I couldn't. Years pass. Time comes for me to write the last filmed episode of Power."'

"Jennifer Chase is going to die, partly of her injuries, partly of her own volition. Part of my life went into that scene, in the way it was constructed, and what was said. And what was not said, what never had the chance to be said, and thus still burns. I knew that, at the crucial moment of that scene, he couldn't be near her, as I wasn't near my friend...it had to be long-distance, hearing but not seeing her, and the terrible pain of arriving too late. I cannot watch that episode without crying. Ever."

.....................damn. :(

I remember that episode and almost feeling lost while watching it. I mean.......... nobody ever really died back then. :(

Anyone that can get and watch the show please do so. A lot of effort went into it. Yeah it was gimmicky, but the story was damn well done.

Wow 87, this show is pretty advanced for its time. They actually had you interact with the show? Thets pretty epic. No one ever does this anymore. The last time think it was done was teh Scream-O-Vision in freakazoid...
