Power Rangers RPM Episode 23: ...And Action and Episode 24: Ancient History


Episode 23 is fun just because they do it all in character.

Ancient History is amazing, if confusing. How many different episodes from Go-onger were put into that one?

The best bit from Ancient History is where Dr. K's hologram pretends to broken.

"Yes, I'm a hologram. But I'm not a recording. That's so last century." Magnificent bit of supergeniusery going on there.

Power Rangers RPM Episode 25: Key To The Past


The writers here are damn good at telegraphing just enough to keep you interested. Yeah, we know in advance that Tenaya is Dillon's sister. But that doesn't cut down on the impact of the bridge scene.

I'm sure I've mentioned it before, if not here then elsewhere, but when the writers are telegraphing it at least assures me that the writers have a plan and have thought things through, so sudden twists out of nowhere bother me much more.

Power Rangers RPM Episode 26: Beyond a Doubt


This is another solid episode. Yes, I know where the key to the heart thing is going. Prepare for a rant in character when it comes up.

The G-12/Ultrazord just has too much stuff crammed onto other stuff not doing anything in particular. And I think I can imagine what that in-character rant is going to be like.
