Whats with lurkers in HJU?

I once lurked here and it took me quite awhile to bring myself to join the board.

I lurked for a few months before finally joining, mostly because I had just gotten into Toku, and had gotten sick of not being able to discuss it with anybody. It just took me a while to actually register, because I was having enough fun just reading the discussions without having to actually participate in them.

Yes we are, thank Keith for that. But being user friendly means to not compete with other boards over trivial things. A really childish and just plain stupid board does that.

I mean, it's fine for this to grow faster but hopefully guys like us (You, me, KeithJustice, Ryoutaros, RiderFaiz, Jedibmoney, Shinngun, Aoiblue, Tenraisenpujin, Mattcomics, x1xBladex1x, DarkWolf, Japaneseseriesfan and the others out there) to come and do daily discussions with us to make the day more exciting

I started lurking on the OZ and TVN boards first, because I was impatient and wanted to know what was going on in the RAWS before the subs came out. As I branched out into older Toku, I found this board to be much more helpful. And then I started talking about Kiva, and asking questions about other stuff... It just snowballed from there.

I think there are some people who want to actually discuss and have discourse about a subject, while others would like info handed to them on a silver platter. The latter are the ones who continue to lurk past the "intro" stage. Or they just get bored and move on.
