What Sentai would I like?

Lotta recommendations here for un-subtitled and not easily found shows.

If you want subtitled and easily found, I recommend DekaRanger, MegaRanger, and GekiRanger.

Ah... the latest show, Shinkenger has been pretty tight too.

Welcome to the team, btw. :D

Thanks. I've seen about two episodes of GekiRanger, and I found it a little irritating... Oh well, I'll give it longer.

Here's Jetman right here! :)

Yeah. I'd definitely recommend Jetman as a first.

If you want other dark themed sentai, try:
Bioman (It is dubbed in English)
Changeman (8 episodes subbed by TVN. Currently on hiatus)
Maskman (subbed by cscentrl)
Liveman (currently 19 episodes subbed by GUIS, and ongoing)
Dairanger (10 episodes by TVN. Currently on hiatus)
Timeranger (subbed by Red Rogue Ranger. Can watch on Veoh)
Shinkenger (currently ongoing)

If you want drama and good story-telling (regardless if it's dark or not):
Fiveman (6 episodes by EJF. Currently on hiatus.)
Zyuranger (9 episodes by EJF)
Megaranger (9 episodes by TVN, and currently ongoing)
Gingaman (1 episode by HNT, and currently ongoing)
GoGo-V (not yet subbed :( )
Hurricaneger (it's subbed)
Abaranger (HK subbed)
Magiranger (By TVN)
Gekiranger (By TVN)

I would recommend Jetman first. Followed by Timeranger, Dairanger, and Bioman. Keeping up with the current sentai (Shinkenger) is also a good idea. Definitely check out Liveman and Gekiranger. As well as the first 2 episodes of Fiveman.

The search function is terrible. I searched "cscentrl Jetman" multiple times and was lost in a sea of threads.

Yeah. I felt the same way. It was Jan (Gekired) that annoyed the heck out of me. I was about 17 episodes into Gekiranger, and I was just about ready to give up. However, it isn't around episode 20-30 which is when it gets awesome. Cause that's when a ton of plot twists and the appearance of new characters occur. It then flows into the 30s, and builds up to the end. After I watched the end, I felt satisfied enough, that the early episodes felt redeemed. Plus Jan (unlike most childish characters) at least grows up as the series progresses. Gekiranger is a favorite among many fans from the current generation sentai. In my opinion, it's the best sentai of recent years. :) (To think it almost became my least favorite. heh  )

So did I... 'til I saw Mele's origin and realized the star of the show was Rio, not Jan. :169:

Give it a good 12 eps... if it doesn't grab you by then, chuck it and watch some Garo and Kamen Rider Kabuto.
