What Sentai would I like?

I enjoy shows with a lot of drama and/or dark plots. I also enjoy old, campy things, if that helps. I'm relatively new to tokusatsu in the first place. Most of the series I've seen have been various Kamen Rider series.

Definitely check out Changeman, Jetman, Dairanger, and Kakuranger. Most of the newer sentai shows are pretty lighthearted, but you might enjoy aspects of Hurricanger and Dekaranger.

Also, Gekiranger, Timeranger, Gaoranger, and maybe Shinkenger currently.

I recommend you start with Jetman. More so because the complete series has already been subbed, courtesy of cscentrl.

Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGo-V seem have darker plot to it.

And Ohranger! A hugely underrated classic.

I'd say start with Jetman. It's probably the most well written Sentai I've ever watched. Very heavy on the drama.

Abaranger is another I'd recommend. Though it starts out more light hearted, things really pick up as the show progresses. If dark and dramatic is your thing, I think you'll get a kick out of Asuka and Mahoro. I sure did.

I started watching Abaranger when it came out, but by episode 21, I had had enough.
