Like what you're doing with PR, really? It's clear you think PR is the better of the two.

Are you serious? Or was this a joke? I don't hold either above the other in generalities. I just know one does somethings better than the other. I enjoy or don't enjoy them seperately, based on the show's individual merits.

If I step up to defend PR, it's because it's being attacked. I'd do the same for Sentai any day of the week.

I really don't get this racist bullshit that you're pulling out. That's not a factor for me and what I'm saying differs from what those assholes say. I'm white -- what the hell do I have to gain by blindly following Japanese tokusatsu? I go by what I think is better, and my belief that remakes can never surpass the original (this goes for everything, from bad Hollywood remakes, to novel adaptations to song covers). Some come close, some are a million miles away. PR has had their share of both. And like it or not, PR is just a friggin' remake. Like some remakes, they might inject a few of their own ideas, but they follow the original to the T and couldn't stand without it.

Not saying your a racist, what I'm saying is is like one (especially folk like FreedomRed) you've already made up your mind based on a broad generalization. You've made up your mind before seeing a product and after seeing it so that all it ends up being is following a pre-judged decision.

At least that's what you said above with PR being uncreative and the such.

For me it all depends. I'm not going to dog on all remakes, because I judge 'em as they come. Each individual has its chance to make its mark. Like The Ring... I thought the remake was scarier than the original. Not because I hold faithful to anything or because of a notion I had going into it, but based off each versions own merits.

No...Poweranimals is somewhat racist, not liking a show doesn't make you racist. Sure if it's got a lot of strong roots...it'll look like it, but it doesn't make you one.

I keep threads like these going because I believe in my posters and that we can come to a better conclusion and ending than other message boards.

I believe that you guys are a cut above the rest of capable of understanding different points of view and being respectful and tolerant.

I could shut the thread down and tell you guys to shut up, but I believe in you guys and would rather you come to a peaceful end and decision than me to force it.
