What Toku you hate/pisses you off?

Whenever I see NAND NOR's sig and avatar, I do a double-take thinking Bolt's (finally) returned.

Yeah, that was random, but deal with it.

Go-Onger I've pretty much stopped watching at this point. I could maybe handle the stupidity if, like Magiranger or Dekaranger, I liked the theme, characters, or designs but Go-Onger has some of the least appealing suits, mechas, weapons, etc. that I've seen in a Sentai. The individual stories aren't really doing it for me and I don't have a problem with episodic seasons. I certainly don't dislike every aspect of the show but I don't have the drive to continue downloading and watching it.

I agree with that, but I certainly don't dislike Go-Onger as much as Boukenger, and that's mostly because I actually like the Go-Onger, most of that time. It certainly is hard to watch the show though. I dropped out of watching it regularly for about 15 episodes and have been working my way up.

You're not the only one.

meh, a list

Kamen Rider Hibiki: I actually kind of liked the designs without the instruments, but found it incoherent and hard to feel anything for the characters or the horrible musical sequences. Strong mysticism elements are fine, but the way it executed that was let down by bad special effects too.
Kamen Rider Kiva: horribly overrated... Poorly written and acted, very incoherent and mostly bad suit designs; but the biggest problem is its almost entire lack of originality.
Dekaranger: the only sentai I watched much of that really frustrated me. Didn't really like the characters (except for Jasmine), nor the suits and CG... In the end pretty forgettable. Even Bouken I enjoyed more because it had some really solid standalone episodes and occasionally good character/ drama focused arcs.
Ultraman Nexus: Initially it had me interested, but it quickly became apparent how bad the acting was and how it was trying so hard to be edgy as well as stick to a boring Ultra formula.
Ultraseven X: horribly disjointed and contradictary with bad pacing, especially given the length.

Dekaranger - This annoyed me actually because I loved the premise and the theme, but a pretty poor cast and unlikeable characters apart from Sen-chan and Doggie, not to mention the hideously annoying and intrusive narration just dragged it down to unwatchablity for me.

The Ultraman franchise in general - I understand how important it is, but I just can't get into it. The giant battles bore the pants off me in Super Sentai and they do nothing for me in this either. The whole premise of Ultraman doesn't really set me alight either - it's just not my cup of tea.

The only time I have ever hated a toku was the Christmas episode of Gekiranger, that episode pissed me the hell off for being one of the most trite episode of a super sentai I have ever seen. I mean I love geki but I never want to watch that episode ever again, Chopper in drag, Chopper IN DRAG! I love Geki heck I even like Jan but that episode, oh well at least I have the movie and crossover movie.

Go-onger-or Crapmonger as i call it. A better title would be "Bandai Sentai Crapmonger"

Kamen Rider Hibiki
Kamen Rider Deno- Ishinomori must be somersaulting in his grave over this one...
Fiveman- Not a good sentai at all. The story was bland, the villians were some of the dumbest in toku.
Kamen Rider Kiva- More J-Drama than KR IMO. If they wanted to really give an 80s feel to the 1986 parts, they should give it the dynamic feel of one. Ishinomori does not approve.

Ultraman Nexus- I can't understand all they hype. It's prequel movie is one of my favorite toku movies ever, but I dislike the series

Shibuya15- Shouldn't be counted as toku at all- a confusing messy attempt to make a Jdrama toku.
