What Final Games Are You Getting... for 2008?

That's a HELL of a load. You able to find the time to actually play all those?

And let me know how Valkyria is! I look forward to one day playing the game from the folk that brought us Skies of Arcadia.

If I make time... maybe. Persona 4 might get dumped from the list, haven't even played 3 yet.

Played the Valkyria demo and OMG it's fucking fantastic! This is the Sega I fondly remember. Anyone who's an RPG/Strategy fan and PS3 owner should be shot for not buying this.

Having played through the import I can honestly say that the game may not appeal to a lot of RPG fans unless they're RTS fans as well. Alot of the later game has serious consequences in battle if you don't place your squad properly. There's been many times when i wind up just using the tank as a shield as people run for the nearest cover. I picked up the demon which seems like a good representation of some of the games easier moments. Mostly to check out the voice acting, which isn't horrible, but its nice to see they kept the option for original dialogue as well.

Tell me, Keith...is Star Ocean 3 still on your list? Anywhere on your list?:disappoin

I...... don't see myself playing it. :(

I'm sorry man... given my schedule and games I have lined up I don't see it happening. BUT... once Star Ocean 4 hits man... me and you.. we shall fly the cosmos!

Honestly, I hope it's got some kind of multiplayer option. Tri-Ace is known for throwing bonus dungeons and stuff in their RPGs, so that'd be a perfect excuse to add it into the mix.

White Knight is getting it, it would definately be a welcome addition. I've been wondering if more RPG's will add a Monster Hunter-eseque dungeon run mode that you can play online to extend the lives of their games.

Man, can someone explain to me WHAT the big deal about Multiplayer is these days? I mean it's great to be able to play with other people and all...but it's something I can live without.

Personally, I think it's ridiculous how multiplayer or co op can decide if a game's worth getting or not:redface2:

It's not so much that every game HAS to have multiplayer. But for certain games like Castle Crashers, it's just a lot more fun to have somebody beating up on the game with you. It adds to the gaming experience. Secret of Mana's another great example.
