Final Fantasy Characters Who Deserve Their Own Games

Let’s have a chat about those beloved side characters in the Final Fantasy series who totally deserve their own spotlight! We've seen some amazing protagonists, but a few secondary characters have incredible backstories and personalities that could really shine with their standalone titles.

Take Yuffie, for example! Her whole ninja-thief vibe could lead to an action-packed RPG filled with stealth mechanics and humor. Or what about an exploration of the depths of Vincent Valentine’s psyche in a dark, horror-inspired game? Honestly, I could fangirl over a game focused on Quina Quen from FFIX too, who wouldn't want a whimsical culinary adventure?

And don’t get me started on the potential for fleshing out characters like Cid (any of them!). Each Cid in the series has such a unique flavor, delivering insights into their worlds through their airships and (often) quirky inventions. Imagine the possibilities!

I absolutely love this topic! Yuffie would be such a fun choice for a standalone game! Just imagine the combo of her cheeky personality with stealth mechanics, it would be a blast! I could totally see her on some zany heist missions while also dealing with her wild obsession with Materia!

And Vincent definitely deserves a chance to explore his darker side. A horror-inspired RPG could delve deep into the themes of loss and redemption, especially with all the tragic elements in his backstory. The soundtrack could be haunting too, maybe something reminiscent of the themes in Dirge of Cerberus!

Quina would bring such a unique flavor to a game! A culinary adventure sounds perfect. Quina's love for food could lead to a quirky quest filled with cooking challenges and even goofy mini-games featuring all those bizarre dishes! I'd also love to see an RPG focused on Tifa. She has such a strong presence and a rich personal story that hasn’t been fully explored.
