Doubt it...comic stores tend to over charge for Japanese imports.

Examples are Gundam models, I sometimes see High Grade kits going for like 35-40$ at most places.

Really? I only paid attention to the American figures for adults, etc. and their prices are a little over the top but still fair, at least the comic shop I go to. Didn't really pay attention to the Japanese imports. :disappoin

Why would Japanese toys be released in the States.... nobody besides the 1.2 Toku fans would end up buying them. It's not like Toku has a worldwide fan base like Power Rangers and would sell like hotcakes or anything.

I still would like this to happen. I'd go on a fucken shopping spree.

Technically, they do if you only buy them at your local anime or Japanese store. But if it starts selling in OTHER stores, then there's a chance that the price may be the same as when you by them in previously said stores or slightly decreased to get some good sales.

As long as they limit the amount in stores I don't see too big deal. Stuff like Diamond toys isn't that widespread. I can only hope for this to work out and have shadowmoon as a USA purchase. I'm running a little low on money after this summer of buying.

I would be perfectly fine even it was something like a Diamond Select deal and only came to hobby/comic shops here in the U.S. I say that just because I have a friend who works at a comic shop and can help get them. Even give me a discount

I thought he meant that S.H Figuarts would be available in retail stores. Not just online or at comic book or anime stores.
Hopefully more than just THE FIRST will be released within the coming months.
