Well in Japan they can make multiple versions of stage plays, or this might be a tv special.
But i was looking on the internet for it, and something caught my eyes, there was a comment on a video on IGN saying they there is a live action in the making and he is playing it...

How weird.

EDIT: it might also be that he is just cosplaying as his favourit character for a manga magazine. Who knows.
