Was TRANSFORMERS BEAST MACHINES that bad.....?

I definitely didn't like it. Beast Wars was incredible and then then BM seemed to not even know who the characters were.

Cheetor became the leader, Optimus Primal become a fanatic, and they morphed instead of Transformed.

I found myself cheering for the Decepticons.

Only good thing about that series, was Jetstorm who was brillaint! His one-liners had me dying to see him show up on the scene.

But yeah... Cybertron being organic.... just undermines all that we came to love about Transformers.

I thought it was a great show. The character models and whole morphing thing was due entirely to the budget.

I didn't watch it. I was big into Beast Wars, but then when I saw ads for Beast Machines I just felt that something didn't seem right about it. My intuition rarely steers me wrong.

IMO the show was pure crap. It took everything about transformers and **** all over it. I could care less why they did the morphing thing. It was lame and stupid. Having Cybertron grow grass and trees and **** was just stupid. As much as I hate bayformers I would take his crap over anything beast machines any day. And as a little bit of humor, BM also is a medical term referring to bowel movement. I think that it is fitting for this show.

Yes. It was really that bad. There's a reason they never went back to the G1 continuity after it.

To me, Beast Machines is just fine. But I prefer to Beast Wars.

I'm not a huge TF fan by any means, and I never saw BW or BM in their entirety....but from what I do remember I always felt that BW just used the whole "Autobots good! Decepticons bad!" scheme (but of course replaced with Maximals and Predicons) where as I felt BM was more in depth and darker, almost like it was made for an adult audience and not just there to sell gobs of toys. I need to watch them both again apparently.
