venting

Lately I've been having lots of trouble with athiests and such, I'm a Christian but I'm a tad bit leaning toward science also. I've been called deluded, infantile, all sorts of ugly names by athiests and it sent me into depression for a while, made me think i was actually inferior and may as well die, since my beliefs do say **** in today's complex world. i eventually realized i could still believe and be logical at the same time.

but i am still having real trouble. i just can't take it when people attack my beliefs.

If you can't take it when people attack your beliefs, simply ignore what they say. Stay true to yourself & what you believe dude. Just ignore Athiests then. >_> No offense to any athiests that may be here, but there's no point in listening to someone else bash your religion or self.

You can be logic & religious, but just make sure your logic is actually logical. XD & believe how you think you should.

The question is though, The Next, do you acknowledge what everyone else it trying to say?

That is what I go by, as I am a Muslim living in the US where the majority is Christian. Its all about acceptance. Not everyone in the world will agree with you. You have to learn to just accept it and move on.

This is a true thing about society. People just have to learn to accept one another even though they are different.

I'm a Christian & have a good friend that is muslim. ^___________^

Try avoiding all talk of religion in conversations with people. You're bound to insult SOMEONE.

I'mma say this, and I'm not trying to rag on you or make you mad:

I am agnostic. I believe in some 'higher power', but I don't know what it is, who it is, and I also believe in science (ie, the evolution theory).

However, I ALWAYS am courteous and if I'm at someone's house and they pray at dinner, I'll bow my head and remain silent. If they ask me to pray, I simply say, " I'm sorry. I'm agnostic, and I don't feel comfortable with that."

And I really dislike it when people send me letters and pamphlets trying to get me to convert to this religion or that. Why do THEY get to push their religion on us, but we are not allowed to talk about our beliefs?
