Ultaman Neos wasn't televised though, it was straight-to-video. It's also one of the dullest toku shows I've ever seen. :redface2:

Everything about it was fantastic. It took the concept of "Redesigning the original series" and made it work as its own show. They added enough spin to keep it different, but also an homage. I love the characters, the fights are (minus an episode or two) fantastic, and everything feels both fresh and familiar.

Have to say Neos was the weakest link in the chain so far for me too......
Some good ideas but SO low rent.
The guy playing Neos had a real charisma bypass.

Let's see how Ginga pans out.

I'm in the process of watching Neos for the first time. The only thing I don't really like about it is HEART's uniforms. Red and white with no third color to contrast makes them look plain and unappealing. Though, at least it isn't like the ZAT uniforms in Ultraman Taro which make me think "British Invasion."

Oh yeah, this is an Ultraman Ginga thread. The number of episodes is a little bit disheartening to be honest. It's still too soon to see exactly what they will do with them, though.
