Anyway, new poster? What the hell is Kemur doing there?
The idea that there's no task force is something different. Because this world is both not prepared or ready to deal with monsters, aliens, of the Ultramen themselves.
No, what I meant was... what is it that he's actually doing in that picture? Some sort of wacky aerobics? He's been on pretty much every poster to date, yo. They made a suit of him for Ultra Zone, so they may as well keep using him. He's one of my favorite aliens, so I've no qualms with this. XD
...Ultraman the Next.
That's the movie poster. How does the specific writer make the lack of a defense team any especially weird? I'm pretty sure every Ultraman TV series before this had a defense team, regardless of the writer. (the Ultra Qs and Ultra Fights don't really count)

It was the events of The Next that lead to the birth of the Night Raider.
Ultraman the Next had the air force, though.
Thing is, Maki was a retiring air force pilot, and they did help him out against The One. They were kinda like a defense team considering Maki's (former) affiliation with them. The air force was basically his team. (of course, Nexus changed that and made Ultraman's host not be a team member, but they were still major characters we follow throughout the story)Yes, because I'm sure there will be no air force in this strange alternate reality.
I wasn't counting Ultra Q because, well, it didn't have an Ultraman either.ALSO, GUYS. GUYS. ULTRA Q, GUYS.
